I'm sitting in the Birmingham, AL airport waiting to fly to Oakland, CA via Las Vegas.
I miss my wife. I've reached the point where I hate to go away for long periods without her.
This should be a great experience nonetheless. How often does a 29 year old get asked to fly across the country for a week to consult on a congressional race?!
It will be an adventure. I'll keep y'all updated.
