I’ve never heard of them, but this is a very, very interesting and detailed article about these way the heck overpriced boxes of chocolate.
The summary: NoKA marks up their chocolates 1300% and you can get the same thing elsewhere most likely at a better quality. But, because these are sold at Neiman Marcus for lots and lots of money, they must be the best.

The name is only an internal code name. It’ll be something cooler, I hope. I’m getting tired of the whole “i” naming scheme.
And So We Begin the Countdown
No, not to the new years, but to the SteveNote — Steve job’s keynote at the MacWorld Expo in San Francisco. The event takes place on January 9th and I’m saving some money to buy me an iTV.
Now, i don’t know what is going to come of it, but I am really hoping for an Apple built cell phone. I like my Blackberry, but I know Apple can do better. And frankly, the more I use my Blackberry, the less interested I am in having email with me everywhere. I’d love to get a RAZR, but the Motorola operating system on the RAZR sucks. It is not intuitive and is not easy to use, though the phone is brilliant.
Apple can do so much better. So let the countdown begin!

Radio Reviews
Well, I’ve received a few reviews about this morning’s performance. Of the few who listened who told me about it, they all said I was entertaining and good. That makes me feel better. It’s tough to judge myself, but I do feel like I got better as the morning went on. I started out pretty rough. The first thirty minutes were pretty awful, actually. But after that it got better. By the end I felt like I knew what I was doing, but then it was over.
Three hours goes by quickly. It’s funny how the mind works. And I only got one phone call — about fake vs. real Christmas trees. I did manage to take on the “asian spas” in town. Hopefully it will do some good. I’m deeply suspicious of why the City of Macon has turned a blind eye toward these places.

Islamist forces in Somalia beat a hasty retreat today to their stronghold in Mogadishu, Somalia’s battle-scared capital, crumbling faster than anyone expected after a week of attacks by Ethiopian forces.
Maybe we can learn a thing or two from the Ethiopians.

Profound and Immeasurable Respect
I have to say that three hours of solo radio hosting on talk radio is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Holy cow!
I got one phone call in the entire three hours. The first thirty minutes were pretty awful. I felt like I got into a bit of a groove after that. But good grief! It was tough.
Oh, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
